    Exterior tile intercepts water before it reaches the wall when excavation is feasible. Interior perimeter drains manage water that enters and pair well with sump systems when side yards are tight or budgets are phased.

    Most interior systems terminate at a sump because gravity discharge is rarely available below grade. Exterior systems may daylight to storm if grade and bylaws allow.
